The off-season is about to heat up. We are back with our first post-2019 off-season edition of our show and we’re discussing Orlando City’s coaching position, and the recent trade rumors involving Dom Dwyer and Cristian Higuita. We also get you up to speed with what the Orlando Pride has been up to since the season ended, including the addition of another international player which completely blew up right after we recorded the podcast! Hey, we were going on the information we had at the time. It happens.

MLS Cup is over and we enjoy a brief discussion of the new playoff format and Seattle’s great run to the championship. There is also some USMNT talk as the Yanks get set to host Canada right here in Orlando at Exploria Stadium later this week.

Finally, it’s everyone’s favorite off-season game show, “Stays or Goes!” Dave and I go player-by-player for both the Lions and the Pride and try to determine whether they will be back in 2020 or if we’ve seen the last of them in purple.

We had no listener mail this time out, but…if there’s something you want us to address on our next show, just ask by tweeting it to us @TheManeLand with the hashtag #AskTMLPC.

Here’s how show No. 182 went down:

0:15 – The Lions are looking at Oscar Pareja to lead the team and could be looking to move Dwyer. What is the club’s responsibility to Pride fans and keeping Sydney Leroux? That’s a topic we dive into here.

41:49 – MLS Cup goes to Seattle and the Sounders were deserving champions. We salute them and we prepare for the U.S. and Canada in Orlando.

53:40 – Stays or goes time!
