Everyone remembers the slick exchange between Luca Petrasso and Dagur Dan Thorhallsson, Facundo Torres’ cross, Ivan Angulo’s chip shot off the crossbar, and (obviously) Duncan McGuire’s cool, headed finish. But one of the hidden parts of Orlando City’s game-winning goal Saturday night in Minnesota was movement.

Ball movement? Sure, but also people movement.

In this video, I show where Torres started on the play, how he helped the Lions build their attack, and the smart movement that led to him taking a good release pass from Thorhallsson and sending in a dangerous cross that was perhaps a couple of inches from being perfect but ended up working out for the Lions anyway.
