The Orlando Pride have done it! They have finally snapped the four-game, regular-season losing streak to start the 2023 season, the five-game 2023 winless skid in all competitions, the five-game losing streak in league play dating back to last year, and the 11-match winless streak in all competitions (0-9-2) dating back to Aug. 20 of last season. The Orlando offense showed up and the defense conceded only once in a game for the first time in the 2023 NWSL regular season in a 3-1 road win over San Diego Wave FC.

We are happily analyzing a game for the first time this year and we select our Player of the Match from an enjoyable game that kept the Pride unbeaten against the Wave in three tries (2-0-1) and perfect in San Diego (2-0-0).

With no guest this week, we dove straight into our mailbagbox to see what’s on your mind and tell you what’s on ours, including bolstering the Pride roster and some overview thoughts on The Mandalorian. Finally, we gave our key match-ups and score predictions for the Pride’s return home to face Racing Louisville Saturday night at Exploria Stadium.
