The Orlando Pride are like a different team on the road and it’s not a very good team. Although there have been dominant performances that didn’t result in wins, the last two have been poor outings that the Pride were never in. It’s maddening, but it’s to be expected from a young team. We break down a difficult night for Orlando at North Carolina on Saturday and select our Player of the Match (well, one of us does).

Megan Montefusco got a new deal that essentially extends her time in Orlando by a year and possibly two. We break down what it means for the Pride and what we think of the club extending her stay in the City Beautiful.

The mailbagbox had a few items in it and we answered questions about a women’s cup tournament, whether a new goalkeeper is in the cards this off-season, when the World Cup players are leaving, and what the prospects are of us adding our brand new podcast to YouTube.

Finally, we gave our key matchups and score predictions for Saturday’s home match against the Kansas City Current. The Pride will be looking for revenge for a road loss in Kansas. Let’s hope they find it.
