The NWSL Challenge Cup scheduled for tonight between NJ/NY Gotham FC and the Orlando Pride at Exploria Stadium has been postponed. With Gotham experiencing travel delays and severe weather, the match has been postponed, with the game now slated for Sunday, July 23 at 7 p.m. That match can still be seen on Paramount+ and internationally on Watch.NWSLSoccer.com

This is the second straight Challenge Cup meeting between the two sides to be postponed. The Pride were scheduled to play at Gotham on June 7, but that match had to be moved due to poor air quality in the New York metropolitan area due to wildfires in Canada. That match will now be played on Aug. 9 at Red Bull Arena.

Orlando sits in fourth place in the four-team Group A in the 2023 UKG Challenge Cup, at 0-1-1 and four points behind first-place North Carolina (1-0-2, 5 points). The Pride have a game in hand on the Courage and the Washington Spirit (1-2-0, 3 points). Gotham is second in the group at 1-0-1. Each team will play six matches in the group stage, so at this point there is still plenty to play for and anything can happen.

The Pride return to league play Saturday night at the Washington Spirit.
