Ticketmaster Leaks Orlando City Home Schedule

It appears Ticketmaster has inadvertently released Orlando City's home schedule for 2015.

While the full MLS schedule will be released tomorrow, several people have noticed a glitch whereby their account manager on Ticketmaster mobile has been populated by Orlando City 2015 home matches. To wit:

We’ve known since Dec. 19 about the home opener on March 8 against fellow expansion club New York City FC at 5 p.m. on ESPN2. The Lions, according to Ticketmaster, will next be home on Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. against the Vancouver Whitecaps. Orlando City will be Montreal Impact’s home opener on March 28 and return home April 3 to play D.C. United at 7 p.m.

According to this leaked home schedule, in addition to Vancouver, Orlando City will host Western Conference opponents L.A. Galaxy, Colorado Rapids, FC Dallas, and Sporting Kansas City. This means the Lions will visit Seattle Sounders, Portland Timbers, San Jose Earthquakes, Real Salt Lake and Houston Dynamo, making for a tough inter-conference road schedule.

Orlando City also hosts D.C. United, NYCFC and Columbus Crew twice each, meaning those are three of the six Eastern Conference clubs they’ll play three times in 2015. Again, this makes for one of the tougher possible schedules for the Lions.

The Lions will host seven Saturday games, six Sunday games, three on Friday and one on Wednesday. There are two home dates in March and April, three in May, two in June and July, three in August, just one in September and two in October.

Here’s the full home schedule, according to Ticketmaster:

What do you think? Does this get you excited about the season? Is the schedule balanced enough or does it seem difficult with extra games against at least two Eastern Conference playoff teams and two trips to the Pacific Northwest?
