Orlando City went to Portland for a late Thursday night game and then flew back across the country to host the Red Bulls on Sunday. Both were low-scoring affairs, with the Lions claiming one point when it could almost as easily have been six. It was a rough week but we’re here to break it all down and give you our Man of the Match from each game.
The Pride have now won consecutive home games and it was good to see (most of) the U.S. internationals back on the field, as well as newcomer Claire Emslie. Rookie Marisa Viggiano scored on a screamer and Ashlyn Harris pitched a shutout. We’re here for it.
OCB is still bad, and this time the Young Lions were done in by an old one. Dennis Chin scored the only goal in a 1-0 loss at Richmond. Don’t worry, the OCB Minute goes by quickly.
This week’s mailbag wants to know about Batman and Zlatan and I’m honestly not sure if they’re two different people sometimes. Plus: our key match-ups and predictions for Saturday’s trip to Gillette Stadium to play the Revs.

Here’s how show No. 171 went down:
0:15 – The Lions traversed the country twice and all they got was a lousy point.
32:02 – The Pride have a home winning streak and OCB is still terrible.
46:26 – We answer our listeners’ questions and give our key match-ups and predictions for Saturday’s game at the New England Revolution.
